Lane's End Leaves A.P. Indy's Fee at $300,000

A.P. Indy, second on this year's leading sires list, will stand once again for $300,000 at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky. The 1992 Horse of the Year (Seattle Slew--Weekend Surprise, by Secretariat) has sired the earners of $6.1 million this year.
Lane's End also announced that the 2006 fees for fellow six-figure stallions Kingmamabo and Mineshaft will remain at the 2005 prices. Kingmambo (Mr. Prospector--Miesque, by Nureyev) will stand for $300,000, and Mineshaft (A.P. Indy--Prospectors Delite by Mr. Prospector) will stay at $100,000.
Lane's End increased the fee for Smart Strike (Mr. Prospector--Classy 'n Smart, by Smarten) to $50,000 from $35,000. Smart Strike ranks seventh on the leading sires list.
