Edited press releaseDr. Andrew Clark has been named chief executive officer of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, the 129-year-old Lexington equine veterinary firm.
Clark, who earned his doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from the University of California-Davis, will oversee a staff of more than 40 doctors who specialize in field care, herd management, reproduction, surgical services, diagnostics, and critical care.
"Utilizing both my veterinary and business education and experience, we will continue building on the strong foundation on which this practice was established," Clark said in a release. "Our continued success will come as a result of collectively working toward goals and implementing strategies that will enhance the quality of veterinary care to the industry as a whole."
