Joe and Diane Szymczak, owners of graded stakes winner Halissee, are offering a special bonus promotion to breeders who send mares to that stallion in 2001. The bonus is $10,000 to the breeder(s) of the first offspring from Halissee's 2002 crop that wins a pari-mutuel race at a New York racetrack. Eleven-year-old Halissee (Cozzene -- Hedonic, by Fappiano) is standing for $2,000 live foal at Dot Bailin's Whisper Hill Farm near Gardiner, N.Y. Winner of the Saranac (gr. IIIT) and Hill Prince (gr. IIIT) Stakes at Belmont Park, Halissee is the sire of stakes winner Chuck Wheat.
