Unbeaten Rare Brick, sire of 27 stakes winners, and multiple graded stakes winner Semoran will stand in 2006 at Dr. Joe Carter's Oklahoma Equine Hospital near Washington, Okla.A 22-year-old son of Rare Performer out of the Mr. Brick mare Windy Brick, Rare Brick is the sire of such stakes winners as grade II winner Powis Castle as well as Medium Rare, a three-time winner of the Oklahoma Classics Sprint Stakes. This year, Rare Brick is represented by stakes winners Rare Cure and 2-year-old Brick Crew. For his career, he has sired the earners of $15.8 million.Rare Brick won all eight of his races, including four stakes. He formerly stood at Valor Farm near Pilot Point, Texas.Twelve-year-old Semoran (Phone Trick--Silk Brocade, by The Minstrel) ranks fifth on this year's Oklahoma stallion list, with earnings of more than $515,000. Three of his 2005 winners have lifetime progeny earnings of $100,000-plus, including stakes-placed Just Jill.Semoran won such stakes as the Kentucky Cup Classic (gr. III) and Prairie Meadows Cornhusker (gr. III) Handicaps and the Remington Park Derby on his way to earning $860,035. He formerly stood at the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine Ranch near Stillwater.
