Grade II winner Mula Gula was represented by his first winner when his daughter Espresso Gal won Sept. 17 at Hastings Racecourse.
Bred in Washington by Gary Ward, Espresso Gal scored in 1:19.41 at 6 1/2 furlongs for owners James and Sandra Loseth, David and Patricia Smith, and Ted Feenstra.
Mula Gula (Lil E. Tee--Night Tan, by Ascot Knight) stands at James Plemmons' Old Frankfort Stud near Lexington.
His 2005 fee was private.
