The Todd Pletcher-trained Vicarage is the 2-1 morning line favorite among seven 3-year-olds entered in the $100,000 Kentucky Cup Sprint (gr. III) at Turfway Park Saturday.

The six-furlong events has produced a pair of Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) winners – Reraise in 1998 and Cajun Beat in 2003.

Vicarage was the runner-up in the Louisiana Derby (gr. II) in March and generated some Derby talk, but Pletcher never doubted that Vicarage belonged on the sprinter's path. After some time off, Vicarage won the Smoke Glacken Stakes at Belmont in July and followed with a sixth-place finish in the Amsterdam (gr. II) at Saratoga. Pletcher will give Rafael Bejarano a leg-up into the saddle.

Leading Southern California trainer Doug O'Neill ships in Estate Collection, who has won both career starts. Claimed by O'Neill after his first start at Del Mar, Estate Collection won his next start by five lengths in a fast 1:08.95 with Patrick Valenzuela in the irons. Valenzuela has the mount again in the Kentucky Cup Sprint.
