Motivator, this year's winner of the Vodafone Epsom Derby (Eng-I), will be syndicated to stand at Queen Elizabeth II's Royal Studs at Sandringham, Norfolk, England.

"We are delighted that this outstanding son of Montjeu will be standing at stud in England," said the Queen's bloodstock adviser, John Warren. "Her Majesty is thrilled to have such a special horse, who was an unbeaten group I-winning 2-year-old coming to Sandringham where the champions Shirley Heights and Bustino have stood before."

Motivator won the Epsom classic by five lengths to remain unbeaten. His earlier triumphs included wins in the Racing Post Trophy (Eng-I) as a 2-year-old and the Totesport Dante Stakes (Eng-II) to start his 3-year-old campaign. In his next two starts, he ran second by a half-length to Oratorio in both the Coral Eclipse Stakes (Eng-I) and the Sept. 10 Baileys Irish Champion Stakes (Ire-I).

Motivator will retire after running in the Oct. 2 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (Fr-I) and the Oct. 29 John Deere Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT).

Bred in Great Britain by Deerfield Farm, Motivator has won four of six starts and earned $2,100,047 for The Royal Ascot Racing Club. Motivator is out of English stakes winner Out West (by Gone West).
