Joseph Haller, Owned Wafare Farm, Dead

Joseph E. Haller, who co-owned Wafare Farm near Midway, Ky., died Sept. 8 in Omaha, Neb. He was 76.
Haller raced stakes winners Dancing Missile, Fighting Fast, Millee Van, Reina, and Sugar's Best. He campaigned Millee Van with his wife, Phyllis. Haller bred stakes winner Tricky River in partnership, and Fighting Fast was bred in the Wafare name. Haller owned Wafare with Nathan Fox.
In addition to his wife, Haller is survived by several sons and daughters, including Central Kentucky bloodstock adviser Janeen Oliver.
