Edited from Press Release--

The Oak Tree Racing Association, internationally acclaimed equine artist Fred Stone, and a number of the nation's top jockeys will join forces at Santa Anita Oct. 1, to raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

In conjunction with the American Red Cross, an array of Stone's artwork will be available at 50% of retail cost, including a color poster entitled "Louisiana Passage," which clearly defines the region's long-time love affair with the horse.

This poster will be available for a $10 donation.

Stone's signature piece, "One-Two-Three," a close-up masterpiece that captures the essence of Thoroughbred competition, will be available, signed by active and retired and Hall of Fame jockeys for $40.

Additionally, five collector's item posters featuring Point Given   and Gary Stevens; John Henry and Chris McCarron; A.P. Indy and Eddie Delahoussaye; Seattle Slew and Jean Cruget; and Sunday Silence with Patrick Valenzuela, will be available at $30 each.

Stone also is offering 15 limited prints of his classic, "American Triple Crown," signed by himself, Eddie Arcaro, John Longden, Ron Turcotte and Jean Cruguet, for a donation of $100. (These items retail at $300).

Hall of Fame jockeys Eddie Delahoussaye, Kent Desormeaux, Laffit Pincay Jr., Chris McCarron, Gary Stevens and other current top riders will be available, along with Stone, to autograph this artwork .

"We are pleased and honored to partner with Mr. Stone, the jockeys and the American Red Cross for such a worthy cause," said Oak Tree Racing Association Executive Vice President Sherwood Chillingworth. "One hundred percent of the money raised will go to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief fund."

The Oak Tree Racing Association will cover any operational costs incurred as a result of this event, as well as making it's own contribution, Chillingworth added.

In addition to covering costs, Oak Tree will make a separate donation.
