TCA Golf Tournament Raises $220,000

Thoroughbred Charities of America raised $220,000 at its annual golf tournament Aug. 16 at the Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Key sponsors of the event were Brushwood Stable, Saratoga Spring Water, DeCrescente Distributing, Morgan Stanley, Fasig-Tipton and the event's chairperson and TCA Director, Robin Malatino.

TCA grossed over $1.8 million at its primary fundraiser, "The TCA/TOBA Annual Stallion Season and Art Auction" last December with 83 Thoroughbred farms participating. This year's Stallion Season Auction is slated for Dec. 3 at CandyLand Farm in Delaware with audiocast auction taking place at Cross Gate Gallery, in Lexington, Ky.
