Pikepass Moves to Margaux for 2006

Pikepass, a son of Forty Niner whose first crop are juveniles, will stand at Margaux Farm near Midway, Ky., in 2006. No stud fee was announced.

He stood at Spendthrift Farm near Lexington for $7,500 since entering stud in 2002.

Out of the Storm Bird mare Deanna's Special, stakes winner Pikepass has 44 members of his first crop. He is represented to date by nine starters and two winners. Pikepass has 69 yearlings.

Margaux is managed by Steve Johnson, who owns the farm with Dr. Ira Mersack and Dr. Joseph Fowler Jr.

Bred in Kentucky by E.W. Jiles, Pikepass raced for Jiles and trainer Kenny Smith. He made five starts, winning three and earning $101,763.
