"This catastrophe has captured the hearts of horse people everywhere. We feel it is our responsibility as the American Horse Council Foundation to help in any way we can. We would like to thank the equine community for the generosity we know it will be all too willing to bestow upon this extremely important cause" said Jay Hickey, council and foundation president.
