Afleet Alex, the Preakness (gr. I) and Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner, will pay a visit to Saratoga Race Course on Saturday afternoon, parading on the main track after the second race. A candidate for the 3-year-old championship and Horse of the Year honors, the son of Northern Afleet is recovering from an injury and will not race at the Saratoga meet.On Saturday, he is expected to visit the paddock and then parade on the main track. Trainer Tim Ritchey has said it is questionable whether Cash is King Stable's Afleet Alex can recover in time for this year's Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships but that he could be readied for a 2006 campaign as a 4-year-old.
