The Board of Directors of Del Mar Thoroughbred Club has announced the appointment of Lynn Wright as its controller.

Wright has been employed at Del Mar since 1990 and most recently served as director of financial reporting and planning. She will assume her new role immediately with her primary focus being to oversee DMTC's budgeting, financial reporting and accounting operations.

Wright succeeds Debbie Hennessy, who recently retired and moved to Casper, Wyo.
