Gabriel Leaves Arlington For Dubai Racing Club
Frank Gabriel Jr. is leaving his position as executive vice president of racing and racing secretary at Arlington Park to work for the Dubai Racing Club. Gabriel joined Arlington Park in 1989 and has served in various capacities. His dedication and vision have been the driving force of racing excellence behind the Citation Challenge, the 2002 Breeders' Cup and the memorable racing program of last Saturday's 20th Anniversary of the Miracle Million. Gabrial also served as Director of Racing for the New York Racing Association (1998-1999), and rose through the ranks at many of the country's premier racing venues including Garden State, Atlantic City, Hialeah Park and Meadowlands. Gabriel is currently a member of the Graded Stakes Committee, Chairman of the North American Ratings Committee, Breeders' Cup Selection Committee, and a subcommittee of the International Federation of Horse Racing Authority.
