Grand Central, set to be ridden by Kieren Fallon in Saturday's Secretariat Stakes (gr. IT) at Arlington Park, has been bought from Coolmore by the Hong Kong Breeders' Club. Grand Central will be leased back to race in the Coolmore colors for the race.

The 3-year-old Sadler's Wells colt, out of the group I-winning mare Rebecca Sharp, will continue to be trained at Ballydoyle by Aidan O'Brien for the rest of the year before embarking on a racing career in Hong Kong.

Grand Central won his first start by four lengths at Leopardstown last year and then finished third in this season's group II Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at the same course. He was second in the group III Leopardstown Two Thousand Guineas Derby Trial and easily won his most recent start there last month.

"Saturday's field at Arlington Park is very competitive," said John McGrath, racing manager for the Hong Kong Breeders' Club. "It will give Grand Central good international experience before he ships to Hong Kong for more group races later on in his career."
