Millionaire Albert the Great's First Winner

Albert the Great  , a grade I winner who earned $3 million in his racing career, was represented by his first winner when his daughter Alberta Whiz won July 28 at Del Mar in her first start.

Bred in Kentucky by Ted B. Bates, Alberta Whiz captured the 5 1/2-furlong race in 1:04.90. She is out of multiple stakes winner All the Vees (by Vigors).

His 2005 fee was $10,000.
