Aloha Bold to Running R in Louisiana

Stakes winner Aloha Bold has been moved for his second season at stud to Running R Ranch near Opelousas, La.

A 7-year-old son of Flying Chevron, out of the Hawaii mare Hawaiian Bold, Aloha Bold won his first four starts and went on to capture the 2004 Colonel Power Handicap at Fair Grounds and place in 10 stakes, including the Count Fleet Sprint Handicap (gr. III).

He retired with 11 wins from 30 starts and earnings of $436,058.

Aloha Bold, who is owned by Michael E. Cooper, stood the 2005 season at Elite Thoroughbreds near Folsom, La.
