Foal and Stallion Nominators Elect 13 to BC Board

Officials of Breeders' Cup Ltd. announced Thursday the election of 13 members to its board of directors through the proportional shareholder voting system by Breeders' Cup foal and stallion nominators. The election results were confirmed at last week's board meeting in Lexington.

The elected members will each serve a three-year term. They are:

Helen Alexander, Middlebrook Farm, Lexington; Robert N. Clay, Three Chimneys Farm, Lexington; Robert Cromartie, Briggs & Cromartie Bloodstock Agency, Ardmore Stud, Orange Lake, Fla.; William S. Farish Jr., Lane's End Farm, Versailles, Ky.; Tracy Farmer, Shadowlawn Farm, Midway, Ky.; Lucy Young Hamilton, Overbrook Farm, Lexington,; Richard I.G. Jones, Christiana Stables, Kennett Square, Pa.; Wayne G. Lyster III, Ashview Farm, Versailles, Ky.; Leverett S. Miller, T-Square Stud, Fairfield, Fla.; Maria I. Niarchos-Gouaze, Famille Niarchos, Flaxman Holdings Limited, St. Moritz, Switzerland; Charles Nuckols III, Nuckols Farm, Midway, Ky.; JosephV. Shields Jr., Shields & Company, New York, N.Y., and Mark J. Taylor, Taylor Made Sales Agency, Nicholasville, Ky.

Alexander, Clay, Farmer, Hamilton, Jones, Lyster, Miller, Nuckols, and Shields were re-elected.
