TCA Plans Double Saratoga Fund Raiser

The Thoroughbred Charities of America is planning a charity golf tournament Aug. 16 at Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The tournament will follow the same "horse race" format from last year's event.

This year the group will also offer "Las Vegas Night," as an additional event with prizes to be given to include Hummers, Vespas, Harleys, hot tubs and more. "Las Vegas Night" will begin at 7 p.m. at the golf club.

Thoroughbred Charities of America is the largest umbrella, non-profit organization in the Thoroughbred industry. The TCA raises money for more than 100 organizations involved with Thoroughbred rescue, retirement, rehabilitation, research, education, backstretch, and handicap riding programs.
