Star Cross to Baerami Thoroughbreds in Australia

Star Cross, a Santa Anita grade II winner for Ernest Auerbach, has been sold to Australian interests and will stand at Baerami Thoroughbreds in Denman, Australia. Racing in the E.A. Ranches silks, Star Cross won the San Pasqual (gr. II) and Forty-Niner Handicaps and placed in three graded stakes. Multiple group I-placed in his native Argentina, 8-year-old Star Cross (Southern Halo--Other Star, by Logical) retired with eight wins from 31 starts and earnings of $329,699. Star Cross' fee in Australian funds is $7,700 (approximately $5,800).
