Capeside Lady wins the Molly Pitcher.
Capeside Lady beat Bending Strings by five lengths Saturday in the $300,000 Molly Pitcher Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. II) at Monmouth Park.
Capeside Lady, ridden by Chris DeCarlo, covered the 1 1-16th miles on a muddy track in 1:41 2/5 and paid $5, $3 and $2.40.. The Todd Pletcher-trained filly won for the fourth time in six career starts at Monmouth.
Bending Strings returned $3.40 and $2.60, and Emerald Earrings paid $3.80.

In the $60,000 Spend A Buck Stakes, Network beat Alexandersrun by two lengths.
Ridden by Joe Bravo and owned and trained by Eddie Broome, the 3-year-old Network covered 1 1-16th miles over a muddy track in 1:43 2/5 and paid $7.20, $3.80 and $3.40.
Alexandersrun returned $6.60 and $5, and Miracle Man paid $4.40 to show.
