The National Thoroughbred Racing Association announced the Eclipse Awards, honoring Thoroughbred horse racing's human and equine champions, would be held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, Calif., in 2006, 2007, and 2008.

The 35th annual Eclipse Awards will be held Jan. 23.

Eclipse Awards are presented by the NTRA, National Turf Writers Association (NTWA) and Daily Racing Form. In addition to honoring champion horses and humans for year-long excellence, Eclipse Awards are given to recognized members of the media for outstanding coverage of Thoroughbred racing.

"We're delighted to return to California for the next three years," said Keith Chamblin, senior vice president of marketing and industry relations for the NTRA. "The combination of Beverly Hills, Hollywood and a major racing center provide the perfect backdrop to honor our sport's champions."
