Flying Spur Mare Leads Way at Australian Sale

Minelli, a winning daughter of Flying Spur, was the top-selling broodmare Wednesday during the William Inglis & Son mixed sale at Oaklands Junction in Australia. In foal to General Nediym, she was purchased for Aus$110,000 by Glentree Downs Pastoral. The consignor was Newhaven Park Stud, agent.
In all, 246 mares were sold for a gross of Aus$2,419,850 and an average of Aus$9,836. The clearance rate was 81%.
