Pollard's Vision and Offlee Wild, a pair of graded stakes winners based in New York, are under strong consideration for the $750,000 Hollywood Gold Cup Handicap (gr. I) July 9, Hollywood Park stakes coordinator Dan Eidson said Sunday.

Pollard's Vision, a 4-year-old colt trained by Todd Pletcher, finished second in the Pimlico Special (gr. I) in his last start on May 20. The well-traveled millionaire earlier this year won the National Jockey Club Handicap at Hawthorne and last year accounted for the Lone Star Derby and Richard Stakes at Delaware - all Grade III races.

Offlee Wild, a 5-year-old horse trained by Richard Dutrow Jr., won the Excelsior Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. III) at Aqueduct in April and last year captured the Massachusetts Handicap (gr. II), upsetting Funny Cide.

The Hollywood Gold Cup, returned to a handicap this year, is run at 1 1/4 miles.
