Graded stakes winner Truluck, sire of a pair of 2005 stakes winners, has been moved to William S. Farish's Lane's End Texas near Hempstead from Double S Thoroughbred Farm near Tyler, Texas.
A 10-year-old son of Conquistador Cielo, Truluck is the second-leading second crop sire in Texas and is represented this year by stakes winners Forrest G. and General Charley, plus stakes-placed Truly Native. Two-year-old Forrest G. won the TTA Sales Futurity, and 3-year-old General Charley took the Texas Stallion Stakes and is twice stakes-placed this year. Truluck is the runner-up on the state's second-crop sire list by 2005 progeny earnings.
Truluck won the 1999 Salvator Mile Handicap (gr. III) and Fifth Season Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. III) on his way to earning $411,655. He is a half-brother to grade II winner Posen and is out of graded stakes-placed Michelle Mon Amour (by Best Turn).
A fee will be announced later.
