The 2005 Royal Hunt Cup winner New Seeker (by Green Desert) is among the 707 horses that will be catalogued for the Tattersalls July mixed sale, which will be held July 5-7 at Newmarket in England. The record total is 127 more than the former mark set last year.
This year's auction includes includes consignments from many of Europe's leading breeding and racing operations, including Cheveley Park Stud, Darley, Gainsborough Stud, Juddmonte Farms, and Shadwell Estates.
The July sale "has consistently produced top class flat and National Hunt performers as well as top-class breeding stock, and this year's catalogue looks to have all the ingredients to attract buyers from throughout Europe and further afield," said Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony.
