Flashy Wings extended her unbeaten streak to three for owner Jaber Abdullah with a victory in the June 15 Queen Mary Stakes (Eng-II) for juvenile fillies at Royal Ascot in her first stakes attempt.The English-bred daughter of deceased Zafonic went off co-favored with Salut d'Amour (by Danehill Dancer) at 4-1 and ended up three lengths clear of that rival in the five furlong race. Bow Bridge (by Bertolini) ran third. Time for the race, in which Flashy Wings picked up $73,332 of the $126,434 purse, was :58.18.Bred by Redmyre Bloodstock and S. Hillen, Flashy Wings is trained by Mick Channon and ridden to victory in all three starts by Ted Durcan.
