Winchell Thoroughbreds' Summerly, winner of the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) and the Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. I), turned in a strong six-furlong work Tuesday at Churchill Downs in preparation for a planned start in the June 25 Mother Goose (gr. I) on June 25 at Belmont Park.

The 3-year-old daughter of Summer Squall covered the distance in 1:15.60 as she worked in company with her Steve Asmussen-trained stablemate Bwana Charlie.

Bwana Charlie, a 4-year-old sprinter and winner of last year's Amsterdam (gr. II) at Saratoga, was credited with an identical clocking for the distance. Assistant Scott Blasi said the son of Indian Charlie would be pointed toward the $150,000-added Aristides Breeders' Cup (gr. III) at Churchill Downs June 25.
