Grade I Winner Delaware Township Sires First Winner

Delaware Township, a two-time grade I winner, was represented by his first winner when his daughter Fightin Hen won June 5 at Calder Race Course. Bred by Catherine Ann Cook and Kitchen Family Partnership, the filly won in 1:08.93 for 5 1/2 furlongs for Top Line Racing Stable in her initial start.

Delaware Township (Notebook--Sunny Mimosa, by Sunny North) scored grade I victories in the Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash Stakes and the Forego Handicap. He stands for $6,500 at Satish and Anne Sanan's Padua Stables near Summerfield, Fla.
