West Virginia Breeders' Classics Purse Structure Totals $1.44 Million

An additional $200,000 has been applied to the 2005 purse structure of the West Virginia Breeders' Classics making the amount available for purses $1.44 million.
The West Virginia Breeders' Classics will be held Oct. 8 at Charles Town Race Course and will kick off with six $75,000 races leading up to the $250,000 Filly and Mare race before the feature $500,000 West Virginia Breeders' Classic.
The Classics will kick off with a series of three $40,000 prep races Sept. 10 followed by three additional $40,000 prep races Sept. 17. All six of these races will have black-type status.
All races are open to West Virginia-bred or West Virginia-sired horses that are nominated to the West Virginia Breeders' Classics.
