Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner
Monarchos was represented by his first winner when his daughter Fifth Avenue won May 18 at Belmont Park at five furlongs in her first outing. Bred by Hobeau Farm, the filly scored in :57.99 for owner G R and S Stable.
