John Appleton, Son of Bridlewood Owner, Dies

John Appleton, whose father, Arthur I. Appleton, owns Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla., died May 1 in a skydiving accident in Texas.

"John had a strong interest in the farm, the employees, and the future of the farm," Bridlewood general manager George Issacs told Wire to Wire.

Appleton, 55, was president of Appleton Electric Company. In addition to his father, his survivors include his wife, Deborah; three children; and four brothers and a sister.
