Freshman Sire Mancini Gets First Winner

Mancini, a half-brother to major sire Unbridled's Song, came through with his first winner when Whatsitgonnatake won May 9 at Hawthorne. Bred by John O'Meara, the filly scored at 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.50 for Equirace.Com. The time was about three-fifths of a second off the track record.

Mancini (Mr. Prospector--Trolley Song, by Caro) stands for $3,000 at O'Meara's Milestone Farm near Lexington.
