Grade I Winner Songandaprayer Gets First Winner

Grade I winner Songandaprayer came through with his first winner when his daughter Stolen Prayer won April 26 by 15 lengths at Calder Race Course. Bred by Bea Oxenberg, David E. Melin, and trainer Ed Plesa Jr., the filly won the 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight race in :54.26. Oxenberg and Melin own Stolen Prayer with Laurie Plesa.
A stakes winner at two and a grade I winner at three, Songandaprayer (Unbridled's Song--Alizea, by Premiership) stands for $10,000 at Hartley/De Renzo, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla.
