Goetsch Elected Winners Federation President

Peggy J. Goetsch, executive director of the Racing Industry Charitable Foundation, has been elected president of the Winners Federation, a national organization committed to fighting human addictions in the horse-racing industry. Goetsch, who has headed the comprehensive health and social services agency serving Illinois racetrack workers for 23 years, succeeds William Jackson, a former Illinois Racing Board member.

Elected with Goetsch at an April 22 meeting in Lexington were: vice president, Barbara Wilmes; secretary, Rev. Michael Bingaman; and treasurer, Dr. Brian K. "Buzz" Rizen.
