Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner Wilko worked seven furlongs in 1:26 4/5 at Hollywood Park Monday. With jockey Corey Nakatani aboard, the colt finished the final three-eighths of a mile in :34 and change, according to trainer Craig Dollase.

"He really worked super and we're real happy where we're at with him right now," Dollase said of the colt who will seek to become the first Juvenile winner to win the following year's Kentucky Derby (gr. I).

The trainer said Wilko appears to have gotten over quarter crack problems with his feet and that he is scheduled to work again this weekend before departing for Kentucky May 1.

"His feet are actually doing well right now," Dollase said. "The quarter cracks he's had; they look good so far."
