First Winners for Broken Vow, El Corredor

The first winners sired by graded stakes winners
Broken Vow and
El Corredor won maiden special weight races April 22 at 4 1/2 furlongs in their debuts.
May Day Vow, by Broken Vow, won by a dozen lengths in :52.30 at Aqueduct. The filly races as homebred for the Schwietert family's Four Horsemen's Ranch.
El Corredor's daughter, Adieu, won by 4 1/4 lengths in :52.23 at Keeneland. A $300,000 Fasig-Tipton Florida March 2-year-old, Adieu races for Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith, and Sue Magnier. She was bred by the Greathouse family's Glencrest Farm.
Grade I winner El Corredor (
Mr. Greeley -- Silvery Swan, by
Silver Deputy) stands for $20,000 at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington.
A grade II winner, Broken Vow (Unbridled--Wedding Vow, by Nijinsky II) stands for $10,000 at Josephine Abercrombie's Pin Oak Stud near Versailles, Ky.
