Stravinsky Filly Works Fastest Quarter Mile in OBS Under Tack Show

Stravinsky consigned by True South LLC, agent, zipped a quarter in :20 4/5 to post the fastest work at the distance of the third session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2005 Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training. The dark bay or brown filly is out of Carefree Sid, by
Thunder Gulch .
Two fillies worked quarters in :21 1/5 -- a dark bay or brown filly by
Grand Slam out of stakes placed Azelna, by Tropular, consigned by Robert Harris, agent, and a bay filly by Hazaam consigned by Halcyon Hammock Farm, agent, out of Dazzling Dixie, by
Dixieland Band, and is a half sister to stakes-placed Rubia and Dazzling Dr. Cevin.
A pair of youngsters shared honors for the day's fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :10 1/5. One was School Board, a bay filly by
Royal Academy consigned as part of the Double R Consignment, out of Be Good Betsy, by Carborundum, a full sister to stakes winner Lil Macy Kaye. The other was a chestnut filly by Greenwood Lake out of Champagne Sweep, by End Sweep, a full sister to graded stakes winner Dark Ending, consigned by Robert N. Scanlon, agent.
A filly by Zamindar consigned by Mirage Bloodstock LLC, agent, worked the session's fastest three eighths with a :34 2/5 clocking. The dark bay or brown filly is out of Christina's Dee, by Kyle's Our Man, a half sister to stakes winners Arrears and Brite's High.
The Under Tack Show concludes with a final session starting Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Hip No.'s 1029-1372, selling Thursday, April 28, are scheduled to breeze.
