Dance Away Capote Works Toward Kentucky Oaks

Prepping toward a date in the May 6 Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) Mt. Brilliant Farm's Dance Away Capote breezed a half-mile in :49 over the fast main track at Keeneland Friday morning.

The Kentucky-bred daughter of Capote, from the H. Graham Motion stable, closed at 11-1 in the final Kentucky Oaks future pool.

Dance Away Capote most recently scored a four-length win in the March 26 Bourbonette Breeders' Cup Stakes at a mile at Turfway Park. She began the year with a fifth-place effort in the Feb. 5 Davona Dale Stakes (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park.
