Stanley Park, who registered a 7-1 upset in his last race, carries top weight of 118 pounds as the likely favorite in the about 1 3/4-mile San Juan Capistrano Invitational Handicap (gr. IIT) on turf, the highlight of Santa Anita Park's closing weekend.

A field of nine was entered for the popular San Juan Capistrano, considered by many to be most unique race in North America.

Stanley Park, who breaks from post 8 Saturday, won the 1 ½-mile San Luis Rey Handicap (gr. IIT) at Santa Anita on March 27.

Gary Stevens rode Stanley Park in the San Luis Rey, but with the Hall of Fame jockey riding at Keeneland, Jose Valdivia Jr. inherits the mount for trainer John Shirreffs and owners Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Moss.

Stanley Park, a 5-year-old Kentucky-bred son of Swain, has a 4-0-2 record from 11 starts with earnings of $250,916.

Veteran All The Boys gets a favorable pace scenario and will attempt to carry his vaunted speed from gate to wire under 18-year-old M.C. Baze, who seeks his first graded stakes win.

"He has all the speed and I plan to get him to relax," said Baze. "I haven't ridden a live-enough horse to win a graded race," said Baze, cousin to Tyler Baze and second cousin to Russell Baze. "I've been close. I finished fourth or fifth, but haven't really been on a live horse."

All The Boys, an 8-year-old Maryland-bred gelding, won his last two races since being claimed by trainer Jeff Mullins for principal client Robert Bone. All The Boys has a 9-2-3 record from 31 starts with earnings of $343,290. He was second to Passinetti, beaten a half-length, in the 2003 Capistrano.
