Sharp Lisa headed for Friday's Fantasy Stakes at Oaklawn.
Sharp Lisa, who was scratched from Saturday's Ashland Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland because of an injury, is scheduled to run in Friday's Fantasy Stakes (gr. II) at Oaklawn Park, according to her trainer, Doug O'Neill.
"Knock on wood, she's doing better," said O'Neill Sunday afternoon. "She trained on Keeneland's training track this morning."
O'Neill told Keeneland officials the morning of the Ashland that Sharp Lisa appeared to have a bruised left hind foot.
"She evidently kicked the wall (of her stall)," he said.
A 3-year-old daughter of
Dixieland Band, California-based Sharp Lisa has won the Las Virgenes (gr. I) and Santa Ynez (gr. II) Stakes this year. She is owned by Suarez Racing, J. Paul Reddam, and Mark Schlesinger.
