Five Star Day Sires First Winner

Five Star Day, a New York grade II winner, sired his first winner when daughter Five Star Holding won April 7 at Aqueduct. The 2-year-old filly set the pace and won the maiden special weight race by 1 1/2 lengths in :53.06 for the 4 1/2 furlongs. Bred by Louisa W. Lenehan, she is owned by John E. Divver.

Five Star Day (Carson City--Reggie V, by Vanlandingham) stands at brothers John Greely IV and C. Beau Greely's Wintergreen Stallion Station near Midway, Ky. His fee is $10,000.
