First Foals for Lil's Lad, Rainbow Blues

Grade II winners Lil's Lad and Rainbow Blues were represented by their first foals. Lil's Lad first offspring, a colt out of Cimerene (by Lost Code), was bred by Bill Cesare and Sandy Posa and foaled in Kentucky on Jan. 19. Lil's Lad (Pine Bluff -- Totemic, by Vanlandingham) stands at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.

Rainbow Blues' initial offspring is a colt out of Eagle Flyer (by Beau's Eagle). The colt was born on Jan. 28 and is owned by Maria Purrington. Rainbow Blues (Bluebird -- Tudor Loom, by Sallust) stands at Van and Marilyn Rose's Van Mar Farms near Galt, Calif.
