Gallagher, Beasley to Address Kentucky Farm Managers Club

Rogers Beasley, Keeneland's Director of Racing, and Jim Gallagher, executive director of the Kentucky Horse Racing Authority, will address the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club at the monthly meeting April 5 at the Crowne Plaza Lexington – Campbell House. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Beasley will give a brief update on the stakes schedule for the Spring meet and provide some feedback on the new polytrack surface on the training track. If time permits, Beasley will provide his top -ten derby hopefuls.

Gallagher will address the club concerning the recent approval of race-day drug bans and testing for "milkshakes" or Total Carbon Dioxide testing. Track security will also be discussed.
