Two-year-old racing got under way at Santa Anita March 23, and it was Storming Hun, a daughter of Devon Lane, who got to the finish first. The 2-1 favorite, Storming Hun sprinted to the lead in a two-furlong maiden special weight race and outlasted Chulla Isabella to win by a head in :21.63. Trained by Wesley Ward, she earned $21,600 for owners Buck and Juanita Abbott.

Storming Hun, who was bred by Dr. Lesley Simon and Elizabeth Simon, was produced from the Jaklin Klugman mare Silvel Line.

Twelve-year-old Devon Lane (Storm Cat--To the Hunt, by Relaunch) stands at TNL Farm in Bosque, New Mexico. His fee is $2,500.
