From Palm Meadows release

Stronach Stables' Ghostzapper, reigning Horse of the Year following his dominating tally in the Breeders' Cup Classic - Powered By Dodge (gr. I) at Lone Star Park in his last start Oct. 30, worked five furlongs handily in :59.60 at the Palm Meadows training center in Florida Wednesday morning.

"He looked very sharp this morning," said Brian Lynch, assistant in charge of day-to-day operations at Hall of Fame trainer Bobby Frankel's Palm Meadows barn. "We got just what we wanted out of him today."

Ghostzapper, a son of 1998 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Awesome Again  , is being pointed for the April 9 Oaklawn Handicap (gr. II).

"We'll probably ship him out there right on top of the race," said Lynch," and give him one last little blowout here at Palm Meadows right before he leaves."
