Johar Gets First Mare in Foal

Johar , who deadheated for first in the 2003 John Deere Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT), has gotten his first mare in foal.
Reason to Fear, owned by Tim and Karen Mawhinney of Daylight Farm in Florida, is the first pronounced mare in foal to the millionaire son of
Gone West.
Johar, who was produced from the Lear Fan mare Windsharp, stands at Mill Ridge Farm, owned by Alice Chandler, and her husband, Dr. John Chandler, near Lexington.
