Unreal Zeal, Illinois' leading sire the last four years, will stand at Hal Snowden Jr.'s Roseglade Farm near Wilmore, Ky. Owned by Snowden in partnership, Unreal Zeal will stand for a private fee.
"He's 25 now, and we want him to slow down," said Snowden, who in the past had Unreal Zeal ship from Illinois to spend the summers in Kentucky. "He'll cover about 20 mares."
A stakes winner, Unreal Zeal (Mr. Prospector--Quick Nurse, by Dr. Fager) has sired 27 stakes winners and the earners of $20 million. He is represented by such multiple stakes winners as two-time New York graded winner Unreal Turn, plus Unreal Madness, who earned $700,933.
