Devon Lane Filly, Songandaprayer Colt Post Fastest Times in Barretts Workouts

River's Prayer, a daughter of Devon Lane, had the fastest workout time Monday in preparation for the Barretts March sale of 2-year-olds in training.
River's Prayer, a daughter of Devon Lane, worked an eighth of a mile in 9.80 seconds to post the fastest time during Monday's workouts in preparation for the March 15 Barretts Sale of selected 2-year-olds in training. Consigned by B.C.3. Thoroughbreds, agent for Timberline, the filly was produced from the Cozzene mare Cozzy Flyer.
The fastest quarter-mile work of 20.60 seconds, a Barretts March Sale record, was recorded by What a Song, a colt from the first crop of Florida Derby (gr. I) winner
Songandaprayer out of stakes winner What a Knight, consigned by Murray Smith, agent.
Videos of the preview will be available on-line at www.barretts.com Tuesday afternoon. The second training preview will be held Sunday on the Fairplex Park race track.
The March sale will take place at the Hinds Pavilion located on the grounds of Fairplex Park in Pomona, California beginning at 2:00 PM.
